Where is the race located?
The 2020 Pacific Runderland 10k, 5k and Kids Run will be held at Roegner Park in Auburn, Washington. Address is 601 Oravetz Rd SE, Auburn, WA 98092.
What time does the race start?
The 10k race will start at 9:00 am and the 5k race will start at 9:20 am. The Kids Run will begin at approximately 10:45 am.
Where should I park?
Parking is limited at Roegner Park. If lot is full, there is parking available at Auburn Riverside High School, which is just south of the park.
Where and when is packet pickup?
Packet Pickup details will be announced soon.
Can someone else pickup my packet?
Yes, you many have someone else pickup your packet, no problem.
I can't do the race, but I'd like my shirt. What should I do?
You may pick up your shirt and packet at Packet Pickup on Friday, September 11th. You may also have someone else pick up your items.
I'm unable to race can I transfer my bib to someone else?
No, there are no bib transfers or refunds.
What time does the course close?
Both the 10k course and 5k course will close at 12:00 pm noon (3 hour limit).
Are walkers allowed?
Yes! We welcome runners and walkers to the 5k! There is a 3-hour course time limit on the 10k and we recommend walkers participate the 5k because of this time limit.
Are dogs allowed on the course?
No, as much as we love our furry 4-legged friends, our insurance does not cover incidents with dogs. For the safety of our participants, dogs are not allowed on the course.
Are strollers allowed on the course?
Yes! We want this to be a family friendly event and know that sometimes that means kiddos have to come along for the ride! If you are running or walking with a stroller, we ask that you start near the back of the crowd and just be aware of your surroundings during the race.
Do I get a finisher's medal?
Heck yes, you do! Every participate in the 10k and 5k event will receive finisher’s medals. Kids Run participants will receive finisher’s ribbons.
Will there be aid-stations and restrooms?
Yes, there will be an aid-station with water at the half-way point of the 5k run. There are restrooms available in the start/finish area.
What will the weather be like on race day?
To be determined…this is Seattle. 😉
When does online registration close?
Online registration for both all events will close on Tuesday, September 8th at midnight. There will be registration available at Packet Pickup as well as day-of-race registration (as long as we are not sold out).
Is there day-of-race registration?
Yes, day-of-race registration will be available at Roegner Park beginning at 7:00 am and closing at 8:45 am.
What is a race packet? What is a bib?
A race packet contains important information about race day events. It also includes your t-shirt and your race bib number. Your race bib is a unique number that’s been assigned to you that will track your race time and participation. Bibs should be pinned in a visible area on the front of your body.
Can I pickup my packet on race day?
Yes. If you’re not able to make it to Packet Pickup before the race, your packet will be waiting for you on race day. But, we highly recommend picking up at packet pickup to avoid long lines and crowds on race day.
Is there gear check?
At this time, there is no plan to have gear check available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Who may participate in the Kids Run?
The Kids Run is a 1k race and open to all kids ages 12 years old and younger. However, adults may accompany their children without registering. Only registered youth participants will receive a Kids Run race bib, t-shirt, and finisher’s ribbon.
What is the refund and transfer policy?
If you are unable to race for any reason, (injured, abducted by aliens, washing your hair, etc), unfortunately there are no refunds for the event. Bib transfers to others are also not permitted. If it’s raining or we have other inclement weather, the show must go on…dress accordingly. 😉
Is there a Virtual Run option available?
Yes! We are excited to offer a Virtual Run for those who want to participate in the Pacific Runderland 5k but can’t attend the event. The Virtual Run race registration will include a t-shirt, finisher’s medal and a print-at-home race bib. Complete a 5k any day you’d like, at the location of your choice and be sure to share experience with us by tagging your photos with #virtualpacificrunderland5k. Registration for the Virtual Run will open at the same time as regular registration (March 2020).
Can I transfer my 5k registration to the virtual run?
If you’ve signed up for the 5k and cannot attend the Auburn event, you may transfer your registration to the Virtual Race for a $10 transfer fee (to cover the additional cost of shipping items to you). Please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Transfer and payment MUST be made by September 9, 2019. After that date, transfers will no longer be available.
Can I transfer my Virtual Registration to the regular 5k?
At this time, transfers from the Virtual Race to the 5k in Auburn are not available.
