Pacific Runderland 5k & Kids Run

The 5th annual Pacific Runderland 5k and Kids Run will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 in at Roegner Park in Auburn, Washington. Race proceeds are donated to Washington’s National Park Fund, the official philanthropic partner of the three national parks in Washington state. 5k run & walk

The Pacific Runderland 5k course is an out-and-back paved course along the White River that begins and ends at Roegner Park in Auburn, Washington. The 5k course is USATF Certified (WA22015RMB). Course Map

5k registration includes finisher’s medal, t-shirt (t-shirt size only guarenteed if registered by 8/10/23), collective bib, and free race photo downloads. The 5k starts at 9:00 am.

kids 1k run

Kids 12 and under can run for Washington’s national parks, too! We will have a kids 1k run for the littlest of park supporters which will begin at 10:15 am after the 5k race. Parents and guardians may run with their kiddos, as well. Kids 1k registration is $10 and includes a finisher’s ribbon. Youth t-shirts are available for an additional $10 during registration, while supplies last. The kids 1k starts at 10:15 am.

Hoodies new this year! Adult and youth size hoodies will be available for purchase. Adult hoodies are available in navy, black and maroon, while supplies last. Youth hoodies are available in navy only, while supplies last. All proceeds from hoodie sales will also be donated to Washington’s National Park Fund. Pre-order hoodies by 8/15/23. After pre-sale, concludes, hoodies will be available for purchase at packet pickup and/or on race day, while supplies last.

We recommend picking up your packet on Friday, September 8th to avoid long lines on race morning. Packets will not be available before 2:00 pm on Friday. Please do not call the packet pickup location with questions but please email us at info@pacificrunderlandevents.com if you have specific questions. You may pickup someone else’s packet as long as you have their permission to do so. Written permission is not required.

The 5k race will be held at Roegner Park in Auburn, Washington. The address to Roegner is 601 Oravetz Road SE, Auburn, WA 98092. There is limited parking at the park and we encourage you to find street parking near Auburn Riverside High School or along Oravetz Road.

The 5k is chip-timed with timing services sponsored by Ready, Set, Time! Results will be posted following the race or you can scan the QR code on your bib to access results on your mobile device.

All 5k participants will recieve a finisher’s medal! 

Awards for Top Overall Male and Female and age division ribbons will be awarded to the top 5 finishers in each age group. Age categories are as follows: 14 and under; 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-70, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90+. Awards and ribbons will be available at the picnic shelter.

Kids 1k participants will recieve a finisher’s ribbon.

RAFFLE

Join us for a good ol’ fashioned raffle after the race and you could win some awesome stuff! Prizes are donated by local businesses and have, in the past, included items from Fleet Feet, South South Running, Road Runner Sports, Starbucks, Hops N Drops, Tacoma City Marathon Association, REI, Washington’s National Park Fund and more! The raffle will begin at 10:00 am. You must be present to win. If you have a business or product that would like to donate a prize for our raffle, please email us at info@pacificrunderlandevents.com. Train with fleet feet

We’re partnering with Fleet Feet Tacoma and Fleet Feet Bonney Lake for their Fall ignite! training program again in 2023! This 8-week program, starting in July, is designed with the beginner runner in mind and will help inspire a lifelong love for the sport of running. The training group with meet twice a week to train together, and you’ll “graduate” the training program at the Pacific Runderland 5k on September 9th!
